DELIRIUM LA

COMMUNITY RULES & ROLEPLAY STANDARDS

Serious FiveM Roleplay | 18+ Community

Our standard: create believable characters, value every life, respect every player, and give scenes room to become memorable stories.

Effective date: August 20, 2026 • Version 1.0

Rules may be updated as the community grows. The latest published version controls.

Welcome to Delirium LA

Delirium LA is an 18+ serious roleplay community. We aim for immersive, story-driven scenes without turning the server into a realism simulator. Fun matters, but your fun cannot come at the expense of another player’s experience.

THE GOLDEN RULE Roleplay first. Winning, money, items, and escaping consequences come second.

Agreement to the Rules

By joining Delirium LA, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to follow these rules, staff directions, and platform terms. Not knowing a rule does not excuse a violation. Staff may act on behavior that clearly harms the community even when the exact situation is not listed word-for-word.

How to Read This Handbook

1. Community & Eligibility

1.1 Age Requirement

Delirium LA is strictly 18+. Players must be 18 or older to join, play, or participate in official community spaces. Lying about age may result in permanent removal.

1.2 Respectful Conduct

1.3 Voice & Content

1.4 Platform & Account Responsibility

You are responsible for activity on your FiveM, Rockstar, Discord, and connected accounts. Account sharing, ban evasion, impersonation, or using alternate accounts to avoid consequences is prohibited.

2. Core Roleplay Standards

2.1 Stay In Character

Remain in character while in the city. Do not discuss rules, tickets, Discord, staff, clips, or technical terms during a scene. If something goes wrong, finish or safely leave the scene, then use the proper report process.

2.2 Value of Life

Characters must show reasonable fear for their life and serious injury. A weapon, overwhelming numbers, restraint, or a dangerous environment should meaningfully affect your choices.

2.3 Powergaming

Powergaming is forcing outcomes, using mechanics unrealistically, or denying another player a fair chance to respond.

2.4 Metagaming

Metagaming is using information your character did not learn through roleplay. Streams, Discord, maps, clips, player lists, nameplates, alternate characters, and outside messages may not provide in-character knowledge.

2.5 Random & Vehicle Deathmatch

RDM is attacking or killing without valid roleplay initiation, motive, and reasonable escalation. VDM is using a vehicle as a weapon without valid roleplay justification. Both are prohibited.

2.6 Fail RP & Unrealistic Behavior

3. Scenes, Conflict & Continuity

3.1 Initiation & Escalation

Hostile action requires clear, perceivable initiation and enough time for the other party to understand and react. Your demand must be possible to hear and reasonably possible to follow.

3.2 New Life Rule

If your character is fully downed and respawns rather than being medically revived, they may not remember the immediate events leading to their death. They may not return to, rejoin, or influence that scene.

3.3 Combat Logging

Disconnecting, respawning, force-closing, or exploiting a crash to avoid an active scene, arrest, injury, search, robbery, or loss is prohibited. If you disconnect unexpectedly, make a reasonable effort to return and notify involved players through the appropriate channel.

3.4 Third-Party Interference

Do not enter an active conflict merely because a friend asks for help out of character. Reinforcements must be contacted and informed through in-character means. Uninvolved players should avoid crowding, looting, or disrupting active scenes.

3.5 Scene Cooldown

Once a major hostile scene ends, allow the story to breathe. Do not immediately restart the same conflict, chain-rob the same player, or repeatedly target a group to force nonstop combat. Staff may impose a cooldown when conflict becomes excessive.

4. Characters & Information

4.1 Character Quality

4.2 Character Separation

Each character has separate knowledge, relationships, money, property, and loyalties. Moving information or assets between your own characters without a legitimate, staff-approved story is prohibited.

4.3 Permanent Death

Permanent character death, or “permadeath,” is normally the character owner’s decision. Other players may propose consequences, but cannot force a permanent death without prior staff approval. Once confirmed, the character may not return under a renamed or lightly altered identity.

5. Crime & Criminal Roleplay

5.1 Purposeful Crime

Crime should create interaction, risk, investigation, and story. Grinding mechanics, farming victims, and treating every encounter as a shortcut to money are not acceptable substitutes for roleplay.

5.2 Robbery

5.3 Hostages & Kidnapping

5.4 Gangs & Organizations

5.5 Crime Limits

SERVER-SPECIFIC LIMITS: Maximum crew sizes, robbery cooldowns, hostage requirements, and location-specific restrictions should be posted in the official Discord. When no special limit is posted, use the smallest group needed and prioritize fair, manageable scenes.

6. Police, EMS & Government Roleplay

6.1 General Standard

Whitelisted roles carry extra trust. Employees must follow department procedures, respect the chain of command, and use their access to create roleplay—not personal advantage.

6.2 Law Enforcement

6.3 EMS & Medical Roleplay

6.4 Government & Businesses

7. Vehicles, Weapons & World Rules

7.1 Driving

7.2 Vehicles

7.3 Weapons

7.4 Safe & Protected Areas

Hospitals, character spawn points, and officially posted protected areas are not immunity bubbles. Do not begin or continue hostile acts there except when an active scene naturally moves through the area and doing so does not endanger newly spawned or uninvolved players. Staff announcements may define additional zones.

8. Game Integrity

8.1 Exploits & Cheating

8.2 Economy Integrity

8.3 AFK & Resource Abuse

Do not remain AFK to farm pay, occupy limited jobs, avoid scenes, or consume server capacity. Scripts, repetitive inputs, or devices used to bypass idle systems are prohibited.

9. Streaming, Recording & Privacy

10. Reports, Staff & Enforcement

10.1 During a Problem Scene

1. Protect immediate safety and continue the scene when reasonably possible.

2. Do not retaliate, argue rules in character, or hold the scene hostage.

3. Save a clip showing context before and after the incident.

4. Submit a report through the official process with names, time, facts, and evidence.

10.2 Staff Interactions

10.3 Evidence

Clear video with audio is preferred. Submitted clips must be at least two minutes long and provide context before and after the incident. Edited clips, isolated screenshots, hearsay, or evidence gathered through metagaming may receive less weight. Reports should be timely. Staff may decide cases using available logs, statements, history, and context.

10.4 Enforcement Philosophy

Consequences are based on severity, intent, impact, history, honesty, and willingness to improve. Possible actions include coaching, verbal guidance, community service (comserv), written warnings, temporary restrictions, character or asset corrections, suspension, and permanent removal.

Level

Typical Use

Possible Action

Guidance

Minor first-time issue

Coaching, scene correction, or reminder

Warning

Clear or repeated violation

Written warning, community service (comserv), conditions, or temporary restriction

Suspension

Serious harm or continued behavior

Temporary removal and review before return

Permanent ban

Severe misconduct or unsafe presence

Permanent community removal; appeal only if eligible

10.5 Immediate Removal

Cheating, doxxing, credible threats, ban evasion, severe harassment, age deception, malicious exploitation, or conduct that creates an immediate safety risk may result in removal without progressive warnings.

10.6 Appeals

Appeals must use the official process and focus on facts, accountability, and why the outcome should change. Harassment, repeated duplicate appeals, dishonesty, or public pressure may end appeal eligibility. A successful appeal is not guaranteed.

12. Final Reminder

BE A STORYTELLER Give others room to speak, react, fail, recover, and surprise you. The best outcome is not always the one where your character wins—it is the one everyone remembers for the right reasons.

Questions about a rule should be raised through the official Delirium LA support channel before the situation occurs whenever possible. Staff decisions and officially posted updates take priority over outdated screenshots, summaries, or word-of-mouth interpretations.

Welcome to Delirium LA. Create something worth remembering.
